Led by Iouri Apanovitch, Ph.D., P.Eng, Rand 3Dโs senior engineering specialist, this hands-on session focuses on the two newest design methodologies in the CPD workbench: Grid-Based and Solid-Slicing Approach. Attendees will gain experience with the concepts discussed by designing an aerospace composite panel. Each attendee will also leave with a step-by-step guide from that reinforces the best practices established in the classroom setting.
A Primer on using CATIA VB Applications for Design Automation

This class will be co-presented by Iouri Apanovitch and a Rand 3D customer who is a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. Together, they will share practical solutions for implementing design automation with CATIA Visual Basic. The presentation will be augmented with live demonstrations and code examples that target FT&A, drafting, and assembly design automation.
