I don’t have a big elaborate travel schedule, I am doing what I did last sabbatical and that was free forming it by going camping, hiking, road trips, seeing friends and family……

Two Perspectives & One Report on Return on Innovation Investment
Published. July 25, 2015

A few years ago, I co-chaired a building industry conference on ROI2 (Return on Innovation Investment). We really wanted a conference with answers: what is the ROI of innovation – specifically Building Information Modeling (BIM)? How do you calculate it? But, like any good conference, I left with more questions than answers. (Which, as an aside, is one of the reasons I adored the recent World Domination Summit.)At this point, I somehow manage to concurrently hold two dueling perspectives on calculating…

Rituals play a critical role in the major religions of the world, whether it’s the Latin incantations and incense of Catholicism, the times of the day and orientation of prayer in Islam, or the dietary rituals of Judaism, they all play a key role in reinforcing who you are why you exist and why you are doing what you are doing.
