      Over the past ten years Matthias Koksch has been coowner of kubit GmbH, a software firm based in Dresden, Germany which develops software for capturing existing conditions into the AutoCAD environment. Finding simple, accurate and efficient methods to go “From real world to CAD,” (kubit’s slogan) is Matthias’ life. This brings with it the necessity to understand every major measuring technology from laser scanning to tape measurements and how they can best apply to various industries and projects.
